University of Surrey Jewish Society :

The Jewish Society at the University of Surrey in Guildford has recently re-established itself. The Jewish Society numbers around 30 members. See latest photos from the maleva malka

University of Surrey Jewish Chaplain

 

The Chaplain at the University of Surrey and other students in Guildford is Alex Goldberg. He is contactable on 07939 594212.

Alex Goldberg is usually to be found in the Chaplaincy Centre (Bourne Flat) in the University of Surrey on Fridays. There is a regular bagel lunch on Fridays at the same venue (12.30—13.30)

GSA Conservatoire (formerly the Guildford School of Acting)

 

There is a informal network / society of Jewish students at the GSA Conservatoire. Recently, the University of Surrey Student Union agreed that GSA students are allowed to join the Jewish Society at the University of Surrey.

 

GSA students performed for the Board of Deputies of British Jews in March 2004. Famous Jewish Graduates include Gaby Roslin.

College of Law, Guildford

 

The College of Law offers one year courses for the CPE/PgDL (Law Conversion Exams) or LPC (Law Finals).

 

There is no J-Soc at present at the College although students are welcome at UNIS J-Soc events.
